Koenigsegg CCX announced in 2006, and the target was a Swedish manufacturer to set foot in the U.S. market. CCX is the tenth generation of DC - Competition Coupe - which was published 10 years earlier.
Ok, things are not funny. The CCX is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.7-liter V8! This is a supercar if you already souldn't that there is a disc rear wheel with a rear mid-engine. The engine was designed by a British company to a formula. It uses a manual transmission 6-speed, and performance statistics to prove it!
